FIREHEART RELEASED - PWYC
Toronto multi-instrumentalist Jordan B. Wright has performed internationally on recordings, tours and festivals with a variety of bands including The Cliks, Tara Slone and Random Order. Gigs have included such prestigious events as MIDEM, Pop Montreal, NXNE and the Pan Am Games Closing Ceremonies.
In 2015 Jordan decided it was time to put some self-penned indie-rock songs to the test, formed a band and released the debut album“Everything Blue” January 29, 2016. Produced by Juno Nominee Jeremy Darby at Toronto’s Canterbury Music, and mastered by Noah Mintz at Lacquer Channel, the album featured performances by local luminaries including Morgan Doctor (Chantal Kreviazuk) and Mike Olson (Drake, Arcade Fire). JBW performed bass, keyboards, piano, guitar, and vocals. “Everything Blue” garnered campus radio play and press from publications like Exclaim!, Aesthetic Magazine, Bucket List and Canadian Beats.
Last summer, Wright hits the studio to record the follow-up LP “Fireheart", with producer Moe Berg (The Pursuit of Happiness).
Guest artists on "Fireheart" and soon to be released "Stars" are Tara McLeod (Kittie) on guitar, Erica Schiopu on guitar, Lindsay Clark (Shiloh, Platinum Blonde) on keyboards, Nick Shao (Rvunners), and Bobby Red on backup vocals. The tracks were recorded by Rob Nation at EMAC studios in London, Ontario.
Since it's release, "Fireheart" has received a great deal of positive press including being featured in Live in Limbo, Spill Magazine, and Vents Magazine.
